Hits self in head
I went to Target after dropping Kevin off at the airport.
I needed ketchup, toothpaste, dog food and powdered baby formula.
Which of these do you think I forgot even though I walked through the entire section and studied sippy cups?
Hint: not the food for the entities that can subsist happily on leftovers.

Ugh. I do stuff like that all the time. Mommy brain.
I’m curious — why don’t you buy your formula at Costco? That’s actually why we got a membership there in the first place. It’s much cheaper.

I’m buying Target brand these days, for $10 for a 25 ounce canister. Since I’m happy with the price I haven’t wanted to play around with other generic brands– playing around with varieties when we had the free samples of Enfamil and Similiac produced distressing tummy problems. I suspect the Costco brand is comparable, though. Ever since Target opened, I’ve been bouncing between Costco and Target and Safeway and Ranch 99 for my household supplies and groceries. It’s really interesting (at least to me) what is cheapest, where. But that’s another post!

Aha. I didn’t realize that you’re feeding generic, and have never price-checked generics at Costco versus Target. They may very well be the same.
Asher had a tiny bit of Similac in his first week of life before my milk came in, but ever since we reintroduced formula we’ve given him Enfamil. I was nervous about switching brands because of the potential digestive problems that you mentioned. Glad the generic is working for Robin. That’s a huge cost savings!
