Between guests and stuff and feeling pretty sick the last two days, I’m not going to hit the wordcount deadline. Ah, well, fuck it. I can still make the ‘finish the novel’ deadline.
Kevin’s Halloween game was an artsy literary thing. This is what he was trying to do. I quite liked it. It was very moody and thought-provoking, and successfully used ideas of ritual and destiny to provide us with a single important and meaningful choice at the end of the game.
Thanksgiving was good! The duck was also good but not worth the cash.
We saw Pride and Prejudice today. I enjoyed it, though I wondered if non-readers could keep up with the plot. Apparently so, according to Raymond and Kevin.
