I picked it up from its 10k mile maintenance today, complete with car wash and vaccuuming. And now that light which started staring at me a thousand miles ago, right before my wedding, is gone, and yet another Task is crossed off my post-wedding to-do list.
In other news, I’m working on the theology of the Trashy Fantasy Novel. Last night Kevin had an anxiety attack about a landlord/appraiser visit on Friday and decided he needed to play hooky from FFXI and clean like a maniac. I played WoW for a while, and then poked at my plants in FFXI, and then couldn’t focus enough to do much at all. So I wandered around for a while, and finally settled down to poke at theology and artistic imagery. Some of that is inspired by my trip to Europe, where I finally consciously noticed that Mary almost always had certain colors associated with her. I kind of want religious art in my story, just as a background element, with the kind of recognizable traits associated with Mary even if the context and physical appearance changes dramatically. I like that.
